This two-story outpatient surgical center addition and renovation project consisted of the addition of two Class C operating rooms, Procedure Rooms, Recovery areas and support areas located over grade level parking. A new two story atrium space was added to link the existing building to the new addition. The building was constructed adjacent to the existing building utilizing a cantilevered structural steel framing system at the interface of the two buildings that minimized the interruption of the existing building’s foundations and utilities.
