Dublin Methodist Hospital, Dublin, OH
Paul J. Ford and Company provided structural design services for this new four-story hospital. The hospital is owner by Ohio Health and was constructed to serve northwest Columbus, OH. It contains 330,000 SF of space and is designed for future expansion of several areas of the hospital building structure. A remote 10,800 SF central energy plant serves the hospital’s mechanical needs.
Structural focal points include the main lobby and six roof top gardens. The building is designed to meet sustainable standards. The main lobby is constructed of an exposed, tube steel moment frame. It consists of a 4,100 SF, four-level open atrium space with balconies at levels two and three and contains a three story water feature.
