The existing 37,800 SF Hangar 1001 at Rickenbacker International Airport consists of a main hangar area with administrative offices along the north and south elevations The original structure was constructed utilizing 160-foot span three-pinned open web arches in the main hangar. The administrative offices are framed with structural steel.

Air Traffic Control Tower, Simmons Airfield, Ft Bragg, NC
Structural design of a 132-ft tall steel framed air traffic control tower at Simmons Airfield. Lateral bracing system was comprised of chevron braces supported on a mat foundation.

Paul J. Ford and Company designed the 56,000 SF hangar and 17,500 SF two-story office building adjacent to the hangar. The hangar consists of a fabric covered roof with concrete tilt-up wall panels with 30-ft high doors.
