With offices in Columbus, Orlando, and Atlanta, the company currently has structural and /or professional engineer registrations in all fifty states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico.  Projects have been completed in all 50 states and 10 foreign countries.

We have provided structural design and analysis services for an extensive variety of building types.  We are qualified and prepared to provide structural engineering services for projects from the programming phase through the construction phase.  In addition, we are committed to responding promptly to construction issues with practical solutions.

Paul J. Ford and Company is nationally recognized by the communications industry as a leader in the design of guyed and self-support towers and monopoles.  Most recently, we’ve added the capability to design and modify power transmission and distribution structures. Our staff is experienced in the design and detailing of new towers as well as the analysis and reinforcement of existing towers.

At Paul J. Ford and Company, we use an extensive library of software to apply creative and efficient solutions. We employ the most current releases of Revit Structure, AutoCAD and AutoCAD Architecture in the preparation of drawings. We developed WEBOPEN, the Beam Web Opening Program, for the American Institute of Steel Construction.
